لا شئ يبقى للأبد

“There is a profound belief that things do not persist as they are under the weight of time, for time has a presence over all things. It quietly enacts its habitual changes, leaving its unique mark. We see the traces left by those who came before us, which prompt us to remember or try to imagine what things were like before the influence of time.
Therefore, all things, no matter how significant, lose their luster and essence, only to acquire a new brilliance and character through the passage of time. This connection visually links what was to what we are living now. It compels us, as we navigate our lives, to leave a mark, making us acutely aware of the impact of temporal distance and evoking sympathy for what humanity leaves behind, believing in its greatness and immortality.
The walls, along with the layers of traces from the past, carry aesthetic dimensions and philosophical meanings related to this concept addressed in the current exhibition”…..Ayman Al-Samari 2020
