“Picasso East Art Gallery” the latest venue for visual art and crafts, has opened its doors, hosting its inaugural exhibition with the presence of 50 of the most prominent visual artists and sculptors from Egypt and the Arab world, including George Bahgoury, Mustafa El-Feky, Qala Qassem, Ibrahim Ghazala, Ahmed Nabil, Mohamed Khodair, Hisham Abdullah, and Magdy Osman. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Ibrahim Abdul Rahman, the founder and owner of the Picasso Gallery in Zamalek.
Mr. Reda Ibrahim, the founder and owner of Picasso East Gallery, stated that “Picasso East Gallery is the largest space for art exhibition in the Fifth Settlement area, and through its first exhibition, it will present works by prominent artists, including major artworks and private collections.”
“Picasso East Art Gallery” is considered one of the most important pioneering art exhibitions in Egypt and the Middle East and the first of its kind in New Cairo. It aims to offer a wide range of exhibitions, including solo exhibitions for prominent artists, contemporary exhibitions, as well as group exhibitions and special projects.
In its first exhibition, “Picasso East” showcases a number of high-quality artworks and collectibles that range from photography, sculpture, painting, handmade silver jewelry, and ceramic works. The hall also features, for the first time, distinctive art pieces from renowned artists, along with some artworks by a group of emerging artists.
