(Egyptian, b. 1972) was born in Beheira. He obtained a bachelor’s degree, MA and PhD from the Faculty of Fine Arts, department of painting at Alexandria University in 1994, 2002 and 2006 respectively. He is a member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists, the Artists and Writers Association and the Board of Directors of the Freedom Center for Creativity. He has worked as an assistant lecturer, instructor and assistant professor at his alma mater. He was appointed as the Director of the Freedom Center for Creativity in Alexandria, Cultural Development Fund in September 2011.
