Sayed Saad El Din (b. 1944, Egypt) was born in Qena and initially enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering in Minya to please his parents.

However, realizing his true passion for art, he moved to Cairo at 17 to pursue formal art studies at the Leonardo Di Vinci Institute, mentored by modernist painter Sayed Abdel Rassoul. Saad studied anatomy and practiced both sculpture and painting. After graduation, he became an art professor and is now a tenured professor. A member of the Fine Artists Syndicate, he explores various art styles, including romanticism, realism, surrealism, and abstract expressionism, with a particular passion for depicting nature. His work is noted for its simplicity and purity, reminiscent of Renaissance painters.
