(Egyptian, b. 1945) received his BA and MA from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1969 and 1975 respectively. He earned his PhD from Rome, Italy in 1979. He is a member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists. He has exhibited extensively locally for the duration of his career so far. He is also an award winning artist. He is the recipient of the Cairo Salon Prize in 1970 and the State Prize for Artistic Creativity in 1976.
