Refaat Ahmed Saleh

(Egyptian, b. 1931, d. 2012) studied art independently in the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1959. Later on he became a member of the Fine Artists Syndicate. He worked in the railway sector then Egyptian TV until he decided to dedicate himself full time to art. He held 17 solo exhibitions in Egypt. He has also exhibited abroad in Syria, Yugoslavia, Paris, Dakar and Iraq.
