Ossama Emam
(Egyptian, b. 1974) was born in Cairo and specializes in pottery. He graduated in 1998 with a BA from the Faculty of Applied Arts, Ceramics Department, Helwan University. He is a member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists, the Syndicate of Applied Art Designers and the International Academy of Ceramics in Geneva, Switzerland.
In 2000, Emam worked as an engineer at the Egyptian German Company for the manufacture of Porcelain in Alexandria. He was also a production engineer at Duravit Egypt for the manufacture of sanitary ware. As well as the head of Design Department at Tunis Chinese Ceramic Company in Naasan, Tunisia. He was also a designer of models and molds for the Egyptian German Company for the manufacture of porcelain and tableware using the raw materials of gypsum, resin, clay, rubber, araldite and silicone.
