(Egyptian, b. 1980) has participated in several exhibitions both locally in Egypt and internationally since 2012. He has also received several awards including SICACO 2013 Contest, Korea, SICACO 2014 Contest, Korea, the 9th International Cartoon Contest SYRIA 2014 (special prize), the honorary medallion from the Ambassador of India in Egypt (2017), 2nd place in Mohamed Abla Caricature award (2015), Certificates of appreciation from the George Bahgoury award (2016 and 2017) as well as an award in The First International Caricature Portrait Festival – Beijing 2018 and The Indian Council of Cultural Relations Award, “Digital and Modern Art” award in the international painting competition “Let us unite against Corona” 2020.
Omar is a member in the Egyptian Caricature Society and was selected as a member of the judging committee in the Lebanese International Competition (2018) and his work has been published in several publications in Greece, Iran, Bulgaria, Korea, Tukey, France and more.
