(Egyptian, b. 1949) was born in Cairo. He specializes in painting. He studied independently at the Faculty of Fine Arts and moved on to study the history of Arabic calligraphy and its relationship with abstraction and painting. He also received a diploma in lines improvement. He is a member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists, the Artists and Writers Association Cairo Atelier, Al-Ghoury Artists Association for Fine Arts, the National Society of Fine Arts, the Fine Arts Lovers Association, the Nature and Heritage Group, the Asala Society for Fine Arts and the Syndicate of Journalists. In addition to his career as an artist he worked as the Head of the Technical Department of Akhbar Al-Youm newspaper.
