Mohamed El Moneim
(Egyptian, b. 1965) was born in Sohag. He is an artist specializing in painting. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts in painting from Minya University in 1988. He also received diplomas in sculpture and art critiquing. He received his MA in photography from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University in 1995. Later on in 2001 he studied the art of acid etching from the Faculty of FIne Arts Compleute University in Madrid Spain. Finally, he received his Ph.d in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts Minya University in 2002. He is a member of the Fine Arts Alumni Association as well as the Syndicate of Fine Artists and the Association of Al-Ghoury Agency for Heritage. He teaches at the Faculty of FIne Arts, Minya University.
