Mohamed Al Jalous
Jordanian/Palestinian, b. 1960
belongs to a family that was displaced from the village of Qazzaza, Ramle District, after the Nakba of Palestine in 1948.
He organized many exhibitions in Arab and European countries, and won the gold of the Tehran Biennial in 2003. He is a member of the Association of Jordanian Plastic Artists, the Jordanian Writers Association, and the International Association of Plastic Arts. Al Jalous studied art at the Institute of Fine Arts in Amman in 1979, and in 1982 he obtained a BA in Business Administration from the University of Jordan. He worked in the field of exhibition management, artistic design, art education for primary and secondary levels, and teaching drawing to art and graphic design students at Philadelphia University - Jordan. Between 1994 - 1995 he lived in New York City.
