Hany Mandour
Hany Mandour, born in Cairo in 1977, is a prominent Egyptian ceramist who learned the art from his father, Mohamed Mandour. He gained extensive experience through visits to museums and exhibitions, nurturing a passion for both heritage and contemporary art. Mandour began teaching ceramics in 2002, starting with adult and child students in Egypt and later expanding his reach to include individuals from various countries. His teaching highlights include working with gifted children in Cairo through a British Council project and teaching in the UK at the Hangrove School in Bristol. Mandour's dedication to ceramics education has left a lasting impact, culminating in numerous exhibitions and international teaching engagements, including a stint in Kuwait from 2017 to mid-2019.
