Hala El Sharouny
(Egyptian, b. 1982) graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education followed by a Master of Arts in painting and drawing practice in 2011. Internationally, she has participated in workshops and projects in China, Belgium, Macedonia, Mongolia, Palestine and Tunisia and has held solo exhibitions in Italy and Tunisia. She mainly works in painting, drawing and mixed media. Her work mixes between modernist expressionism and realism in order to depict Egyptian life. El Sharouny’s works are present in museum and private collections worldwide, including Tunisia, Austria, Turkey, France, England, Italy, Kuwait, Palestine, USA, UAE, Italy, Lebanon, Canada, Greece, Netherlands, Czech Republic and China.
