He worked in Rose Al-Youssef and Good Morning until July 1999. He also drew for the Emirati children’s magazine “Majid” from 1972 until 1979. He was published by most Egyptian opposition newspapers such as Al-Shaab, Al-Ahrar, Al-Ahly, Al-Wafd, and Al-Arabi. . He also published in Al-Ahram, and Al-Fajr. He had an agent in New York (cartoonists and writer’s syndicate) “C&W” who published his work in more than 120 American newspapers and magazines and in about 25 European and Asian magazines and newspapers. Most international newspapers. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Cartoon Union since 1984.
