Fouad Tomb

(Lebanese, b. 1951) is the son of famous artist Maroon Tomb therefore he grew up in a very artistic family in Beirut. Later on he moved to Montreal where he attended UQAM's Faculty of Fine Arts. There, he delved into the study of the techniques of the greatest Renaissance artists to post-impressionism. Upon his return to Lebanon in 1994, he established the "Arts and Renaissance" school, which aims to spread and teach art to children and adults. More than 25 years have passed since its establishment and more than 3500 students have benefited from its experience, and a large number of them have shined their names in the field of plastic art. Tunb held several exhibitions around the world, from Lebanon to France, Los Angeles, Boston and Montreal, as well as more than 12 exhibitions in the UAE and Qatar. And he won several awards, including the Said Aqel Prize and an Honorary Doctorate from an American University. His name also appeared among the 100 Lebanese and Arab personalities in the book "Pioneers from Lebanon". He also delivered a certificate of appreciation from Los Angeles - California and another from the "Commonwealth of Massachusetts" - Newton. In addition to several certificates of appreciation from the UAE and Lebanon. At the request of the Consulate of Lebanon in Montreal, he designed a postage stamp to celebrate the 50th anniversary of relations between Lebanon and Quebec - Canada.
