Darin Gad
Egyptian, b. 1981
Darin Mohie Zakaria Gad, born in Cairo in 1981, is an Egyptian visual artist specializing in graphic design.
She earned her bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Design Department, Helwan University in 2003. Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions across Egypt, including the 41st and 44th El-Talaia Exhibitions by the Society of Fine Art Lovers (2000, 2004), “New Talents” at Shomoua Gallery (2001), “Single Shot” at the Cairo Opera House (2002), “Noon & Art” at Picasso Gallery (2002), “Creativity 2” at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Alexandria (2002), the 6th and 7th Small Artworks Salons (2003, 2004), the 6th Port Said National Biennale (2003), “Popular Carts” at Ibdaa Gallery (2003), the 28th National Exhibition of Fine Arts (2003), the 18th and 19th Youth Salons as part of the Contemporary Art Festivals (2007, 2008), a group show for first-time solo exhibitors at Gezira Art Center (2008), and most recently, “24 × 2024” at Picasso East Gallery in December 2023. In recognition of her work, she received the Drawing Prize at the 44th El- Talaia Exhibition in 2004.
