He is a member of the Egyptian Contemporary Graphic Society and the Fine Artists Syndicate. He is a professor and the head of the graphic department at the faculty of fine arts. He has participated in a number of solo and group exhibitions both locally in Egypt and internationally in Yugoslavia, France, Qatar, Germany, England, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Poland, Japan, Norway, Canada, Cuba, Italy, Korea, India, Switzerland, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
