Assem Abd El Fattah
(Egyptian, b. 1956) was born in Abbasiya. He is a professor at the painting department of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Menia University. He received his Ph.D. from the faculty of fine arts at Helwan University in 1993 and his bachelor’s degree from the same institution in 1982. He uses painting, watercolor, digital art, and mixed media to express himself. He is known for his deconstruction of shapes and using layers to achieve textured color. His work is part of private collections in several countries like Canada, Italy, USA, UK, Germany, and Holland.
