Amr Selim
Amr selim (Egyptian, b. 1962)
Egyptian cartoonist. He graduated in 1986 from the Higher Institute of Cinema in Egypt (Animation Department). He began his career working in “Rose Al-Youssef” magazine in 1988, then he quickly became head of the cartoon department and assistant to the editor-in-chief of the magazine. In 2005, Amr joined Al-Dustour newspaper and worked there as an illustrator, head of the cartoon department, and also assistant to the editor-in-chief for a year and a half. He joined Al-Masry Al-Youm Foundation in 2008 (November). He currently works in Al-Shorouk newspaper and also draws in the Emirati “Al-Sada” magazine, the Kuwaiti newspaper “Al-Rai” and the children’s magazine “Majid” since 1994. He has worked in many Arab newspapers and magazines “Al-Osboa”, “London Life”, “Al-Arabi Al-Nasseri” and “Al-Ahrar
