Amr Selim

Egyptian cartoonist. He graduated in 1986 from the Higher Institute of Cinema in Egypt (Animation Department).

He began his career working in “Rose Al-Youssef” magazine in 1988, then he quickly became head of the cartoon department and assistant to the editor-in-chief of the magazine. In 2005, Amr joined Al-Dustour newspaper and worked there as an illustrator, head of the cartoon department, and also assistant to the editor-in-chief
for a year and a half. He joined Al-Masry Al-Youm Foundation in 2008 (November).
He currently works in Al-Shorouk newspaper and also draws in the Emirati “Al-Sada” magazine, the Kuwaiti newspaper “Al-Rai” and the children’s magazine “Majid” since 1994. He has worked in many Arab newspapers and magazines “Al-Osboa”, “London Life”, “Al-Arabi Al-Nasseri” and “Al-Ahrar.
