HERprint
9 Feb. until 9 Mar., 2026
Picasso East Art Gallery, in collaboration with Living Units and the Taiwan Women’s Art Association (TWAA), presents HERprint, a contemporary art exhibition that highlights the contributions of women visual artists and their role in shaping the contemporary visual landscape, within a framework of cross-cultural dialogue.
The three institutions share a common vision centered on empowering women artists, expanding spaces of visibility, and opening new horizons for international cultural exchange. Writer and artist Sanaa El Beissi is the Guest of Honor of the exhibition, which will be officially inaugurated in the presence of H.E. Olivia Toderean, Ambassador of Romania, underscoring the cultural and diplomatic dimension of this artistic event.
The exhibition is conceptually rooted in the poetic phrase “She is the Tree… She is the River,” a metaphor for continuity, transformation, and enduring impact. It brings together works by 30 international women artists from diverse artistic experiences and backgrounds, reflecting a multiplicity of perspectives, approaches, and contemporary practices.
This exhibition aligns with Picasso East Art Gallery’s ongoing commitment since its establishment in 2015 to supporting contemporary visual arts, presenting thoughtfully curated exhibitions, and fostering cultural exchange and artistic dialogue. The exhibition is co-organized with Living Units, a trans-cultural visual art initiative founded in 2016 that promotes humanistic values and challenges social stereotypes through touring exhibitions and cultural programs, and the Taiwan Women’s Art Association (TWAA), a national organization founded in 2000 with over 270 members, dedicated to supporting women artists across artistic creation, research, education, and curatorial practice.
