Omar Abdel-Zaher
Egyptian, b. 1966
Omar Ahmed Abdel Zaher Diab, born on April 30, 1966, in Cairo, Egypt, specializes in graphic design.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Minia University (1991), a Diploma in Oil Painting, and a PhD in Philosophy of Art from Helwan University (2006). Omar has worked in advertising, graphic design for Egypt Today magazine (1992-1994), and in the Fine Arts sector (1995-2005). He served as Director of Nahdet Misr Hall in 2006 and taught art at South Valley University from 2007 to 2014. Currently, he works in the General Administration of National and International Exhibitions. Omar is a member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists and the Cairo Atelier.
