Mostafa El-Feky, born on October 17, 1937, in Egypt, is a renowned figure in modern Egyptian art, celebrated for his diverse and unique style. He earned a BFA and an MA from Helwan University, where he later became a professor and vice-dean.
El-Feky’s career spans over fifty years, including studies in Italy and teaching stints in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, where he contributed to the Fine Arts movements in both countries. His artwork is deeply inspired by Egyptian heritage, often depicting everyday life in historic Cairo neighborhoods, and his style evolved from expressionism to abstractionism over time.
