was an Egyptian painter born in Kafr El-Sheikh. (1926–1995),

known as El-Qabbani, He studied art independently and under renowned artists Seif and Adham Wanly in Alexandria, later earning diplomas in decoration and fine arts from Moscow.

A member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists and the Alexandria Atelier, he worked as a painter and textile designer. His career included numerous solo exhibitions in Egypt and abroad, notably in Alexandria, Cairo, Germany, and Rome. He actively participated in many group exhibitions locally and internationally, including the Alexandria Biennale and shows in Spain, Germany, and Korea. Influenced by ideal realism, his work reflected a refined aesthetic vision that idealized natural and human subjects.
He received several awards including from the Cairo General Exhibition (1981) and the Supreme Council of Culture (1984), and his works are held in major public collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in Cairo, the Alexandria Museum of Fine Arts, and various cultural centers worldwide. He was granted an artistic fellowship in 1984 and is recognized in national cultural encyclopedias.
