In this exhibition, titled “Nile Squares,” I present a visual experience that seeks to deconstruct forms and reconstruct them anew. It is an attempt to perceive heritage not as a static relic of the past, but as a
living fabric woven from interlocking chromatic and geometric units.
I have chosen the “Square” as the fundamental building block of my compositions—a unit that may multiply into rectangles of various dimensions. It serves as a symbol of order and stability, much like
the land tilled by the farmer or the walls that embrace the echoes of music. Through these squares, I re-imagine our daily vocabulary: from the water buffalo that embodies the backbone of the countryside, to
the musicians representing the soul’s pulse, and the clay vessels that preserve the essence of the earth.
In “Nile Squares,” I do not seek a literal imitation of reality; instead, I search for the “Geometry of Emotions.” Every colored square is a heartbeat, and every sharp line is a path toward a contemporary
Egyptian narrative—a visionary outlook toward the “Absent Future.” Through these works.
I invite you to contemplate the growth of forms, colors, and lights within structural units that shape our collective consciousness toward these elements.
